What a blessing it was. Edwin Samuel Switzer was given a name and a blessing yesterday. It was wonderful. Such a beautiful day filled with the spirit and family.
What more could you ask for?
Actually, I could have asked for his blessing outfit to be put on the right way. As I was handing Eddy to Danny to go and be blessed I realized that it was on backwards. It was so funny, the buttons that go in the back were in the front so Eddy was showin' some sweet baby chest hair. Also, I forgot the bonnet, the cutest part ... It's just another lesson for me that life isn't always about fashion.
Though the lady selling me this outfit thought it was quite unfashionalbe and old-fashioned. Too bad, thats how I like it. My grandpa was blessed in a dress, and if I could have found a manly one, Eddy would have been too. Okay, I think I have done enough focusing on baby fashion.
The day was fabulous and filled with the spirit, good food, good company, and beautiful weather. It was a great day.
