Spring

This dang weather outside is giving me spring fever. Some of my greatest memories of spring are from high school. My friends and I had a saying that went like this: "Who goes to school on friday?" Well, we didn't. We would wake up early, drive to school, meet, and then leave together and go enjoy the weather. Seriously, I know I missed a lot of school but it was so worth it, and I hope my kids have the same experiences and just have some dang fun.

This is Sarah, she is my friend from high school. In the spring we would drive by the English portable and make the sound "Meeeehhhhhhhh!!!" I'm not sure why, I think we just liked to be annoying.

Another great thing about spring is SPRING BREAK! This was the best spring break of my life. It was my first year of college and me and my roomies went to Southern California for a week in the sun. I actually quit my job that I had been working at for only 2 weeks just to go. I had earned enough cash for the trip and that was all I needed. I think I would have quit my job even if there was no spring break. I had to wear black pants and the only ones I had were spandex dance pants and I had to tuck in my XL trucker shirt into the spandex pants. Did I mention I was a hot cook at the Golden Corral?
This next picture is spring in Russia. It is so beautiful and green there. Its not just any green, its super light, springy green. I dont recommend anyone needs to really experience spring in Russia, just know its pretty but it's not worth the potential mugging.

My other favorite thing about spring is rolling down your windows for the first time and listening to spring music like Closer to Fine by I.G., or Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Spring is the best because it prepares you for summer. Is there anything in this world better than summer? I don't think so.

Yes, I love summer! I cant wait for skiing, mowing the lawn, sunburns or just sweating in the hot sun. Snee, thanks for the inspiring me to write about this time of year. I cant wait for your nectarines.
