Okay, I have a choice to make and I cannot decide, so please help me. Danny's BFF is getting baptized on February 8 in California. Danny has been asked to baptize him. I need a serious "get the H out of Utah" break. I am depressed in this freezing weather. So I should go with him right? Well I dont know. I am sooooo nauseous every day, and if we both go we will have to drive. Is it worth being in the car for 11 hours to see the sun for 3 days? Also, we will probably be hanging out with his buds most of the time...which is fine, but not really a vaca. for me. Sorry. Next, if I do go, do I take Eddy? It would be a long car ride, and fun for just me and Danny to do a road trip with just us, but the drive home would go by sooooooo slow if I am just counting down the minutes to see the babe. Lame dilemma, I know, but I still cannot decide. AND I have to decide soon because if I dont go, I need to get Danbo a flight ASAP. What should I do?
Update: Thank you all for your advice. I think we will just go together and hopefully my mama will watch the boy. Danke.

I say go, leave the babe so it's a true vacay (even if you love your kid, vacations don't exist when you're a mom) and drink lots of ginger ale. Have you tried the B6 supplement yet? That seemed to help when I was preggers with Andrew.
Libby, I haven't been keeping up with my friends blogs, I just read yours and congratulations on being pregnant!! That is so exciting. Now that we all know what Eddy would look like if he were a girl, I'm rooting for a girl!

I agree. Ditch that boy! I love him, you know that. But you should go, and 3 days of sun is worth almost any amount of torture. Just think of Freshman year...
Libs, you gotta go. Get away and take a break from the kiddo. It will be good for you and D to get a few days alone and just be together remembering the feelings you have for each other without the baby. Have fun and get some sun for a few days. Then come home and love Eddy even more.
For sure leave the babe and soak the sun. Sun will help your sickness...right? Bring him over here for 3 days. My boys would LOVE a friend to visit. I'm serious.

We are in somewhat of a similiar dilemma! I've been asked to go to YW camp (6 hours away) this summer for 5 days! Can I leave Zannah for that long?!? I need to let them know ASAP, but I've been having panic attacks. Anywho...after reading all of your friends comments I'm feeling much more relaxed and I agree, if you have someone to watch Eddy, GO for it (unless of course this rules out coming to Amarillo, then I say forget it)
It is NOT a lame dilemma it is the dilemma of our new-baby-found lives.
The drive is totally worth 3 days. So, go for it.
However, the eddy thing, I don't know. It depends on how well he handles road trips.
