A morning for the books

This morning I woke up, fed Eddy, drew his bath, put him in, and sat by him as I read. Since I work on Wednesdays my mornings are usually a little rushed. After I finished reading I decided to get in the bath with him to make the morning process go a little quicker. As I started shampooing my hair, I began to smell something stinky. I looked at Eddy and checked his bum. Luckily it was just a toot. I rinsed the shampoo from my head and as I got the shampoo out of my eyes I looked into the water only to find about 2 cups worth of diareah. OH MY VOMIT!!! So I grabbed Eddy out of the bath, left the water as it was and got us into the shower as quickly as possible. I kept trying to put him down so I could wash my body but he was terrified of the drain and screamed and screamed until I picked him up. Once I picked him up there was no putting him back down. He was clawing at my neck holding on for dear life afraid that I would put him down again. The point here is that I was in a hurry and showering with one hand takes a really long time. We got out of the shower, I got Eddy dressed and as I started to put on my makeup I heard water splashing in the washroom. I ran down the hall only to find Eddy had dumped Moose's water bowl upside down and he is now soaking wet. I get him out of the washroom. Close myself in there to clean it up and when I come out I find him in the bathroom reaching over the tub trying to play in the poop water. As if my senses weren't heightened enough from being pregnant. I was incredibly nauseous and attempting not to barf. So I got Eddy out of the bathroom, I cleaned up the poop and as I came out of the bathroom Eddy was in the other bathroom emptying my cupboards and dumping everything on the floor. I just needed to get him out of the house. Finally, I just grabbed him and we left. Luckily my mom is babysitting him this morning. I called her and told her about my morning, when I got to her house she had made me breakfast and packed me a lunch to take to work, and a pack of crackers for my nausea. She is so wonderful. So is Eddy, he was just a little too energized this morning. Anyway, needless to say I was late for work, but luckily I work for my dad and he doesn't care. I'm so lucky to have a family to take care of me.
