My how time flies. Eddy has been in our family for an entire year. It is hard to believe. I swear just yesterday I was sleeping with him on my chest bundled in a tiny blanket. I also cant wait for the future. One year down 17 more to til this kid moves out and thats not very long. I get excited when I think about him walking, talking, starting school, making friends, getting in fights, dating, girlfriends, vacations, graduation...wow I should make a commercial. It's all too much to comprehend but fun to anticipate, though I can wait. I'm trying to enjoy every day right now because it really does go by so quickly.
Back to the party, it was great. Exhausting but great. The night before I was up til about 1 making Eddy his cake. It had to be egg and milk free and it was a very frustrating night. I haven't freaked out like that in a couple years. Danny helped me out. After the first cake didn't work out, he cleaned the kitchen while I tried to cool off. My second attempt was successful. I made a guitar cake for my rock star Eddy Utah.
The family gathered at my moms house for the celebration (thanks mom) and it was a good night. We missed the Switzer's and Heningers but kept them in our hearts. Eddy was spoiled rotten with cake and presents and attention. He loved every minute of it. Especially his birthday hat that his cousin Whitney made for him. What a party.

Anyway, awesome job on the b-day cake!! That is some amazing talent. And Eddy has got to be the cutest kid ever!! You two make cute babies! :)
