1. The first highlight was a nice girl in the airport. While I was on the plane from SLC to Denver Eddy had a MAJOR blow out. I am talking, the biggest poo I have EVER seen come out of him. It just happened to find its way up Eddys back, onto his blanket, and onto my shirt and pants. The funny thing is, I didnt even notice it until we got off the plane. Well, I went into the bathroom to clean it off...which wasnt happening very easily and a girl watching me gave me one of her shirts. It was so nice, and I will forever be grateful for her that day.
2. The second major highlight was watching Eddy and Zannahs love blossom. As you can see, he couldnt take his eyes off her and I dont blame him, she is gorgeous.
3. The third highlight was sitting in the sun. 
4. Going to route 66.
5. Sitting on a pair of ancient GIANT legs in the middle nowhere. WHAT?
6. Cadillac Ranch. Okay, this is a sight to behold. Some dude buried a bunch of Cadillacs in his field with the hoods in the ground and people come from all around to spray paint them. 
7. Getting a new hobby. Lynsey and I decided to make a purse which then turned into 6 purses and staying up til 2 in the morning. It was so fun, and addicting. I'm going through withdrawals right now because I don't have a sewing machine. But look how cute they turned out!
8. And FINALLY, the greatest part of the trip was finding out that Lynsey and I are 3rd cousins. The world is a small place and I am glad it is. I love learning about the heritage I came from and I always hoped ranching was in my blood. Thanks Lyns for an awesome time.

It looks like you had a lot of fun! Those purses are freaking cute! You should teach me how to make one. Now you have been to texas! How was it?

Wow, I think I should change our summer vacation plans, and go to Texas! I was excited about the legs wearing tube socks, but you sold me with the cadillac field. P.S. Eddy is really cute.
It is so fun keeping up with you guys on your blog. These are such great ways to stay in touch even though we are down south. Looks like you had a fun trip.
I love those dang purses! They are even better in person. You could take etsy by storm!
And those pictures from the trip are awesome. The legs and the cars are a couple that I will have to remember to copy if we ever make it to see those three.
