MY FAMILY ROCKS!

Eddy is doing much better today. We got his blood work back and everything looks good, now we are just waiting for the Ciliac test, until then no gluten for this little boy. Needless to say I have been a bit stressed the past couple of weeks, its never fun to have a sick baby and my family has been so wonderful to help me out.
Lets start with mom and dad: My dad has been sick over Eddy. He calls me everyday to see if he has made any progress. The other day I was very upset and my dad called and said "Do you want me to drive up there to give you a hug?" How sweet is that? My mom has also been calling me every day to give me advice on his diet and has found me 2 of the top Docs in the state that work with children and their allergies. She has gone out of her way to make sure Eddy is getting the best care out there.
My sister heard about an illness called E.E. she found out all the information about it told and told me to ask my Dr. about it. Strangely enough, she was right on the nose. When I talked to my Doc. yesterday he brought it up and said we should have him tested. Then we started Eddy on some meds immediately in case that is what he has.
HE HASNT THROWN UP SINCE!
On Thursday I was having a particularly bad day and I called my other sister to tell her about Eddys morning, she came immediately to my house, brought me breakfast and fresh bread from Great Harvest. Then when I had to leave to take him to the hospital she cleaned my entire house! Who does that???
Then that night my brother surprised me by taking me to the Rascal Flatts concert. It was so great to have a break and the concert was AMAZING. There was not one song we didnt ALL know. My brother also gave me some really good advice. He told me that the only way to relive my anxiety and stress and to feel better is by having FAITH. I one hundred percent agree with him, but it is easier said than done. Last night my brother in-law came over to assist in giving Eddy a blessing and I am trying to have Faith and remember that no matter what happens, it is in the Lords hands and we will all be able to work through it.
THANKS WONDERFUL FAMILY!
p.s. thank you also, wonderful neighbors for bringing us dinner, YOU ROCK!

Day 14

So, Eddy went to the Dr. and he had really no idea what was wrong with him. He told me to try benadryl for the rash, and today...drum roll please....ITS GONE!!! But, now an ear infection. What am I to do? He is really looking much better. My mom called Randy Reese (the best DR. in the world) and asked him his advice. He suggested a couple of Docs in SLC that deal with allergies and working with a child's diet related to allergies. I guess a lot of children who are allergic to everything do not gain weight properly. Eddy has lost 2 pounds and Randy believes that his sickness is related to eating foods he is allergic to. So, I am going to take him to the diet/allergy Dr. and hopefully get him on a regimen that will pack some pounds on his tiny body. Just in case you were wondering these are the things that Eddy is allergic to: Milk, eggs, beef, yeast, nuts, dogs(oops), cats, and now I believe corn. This means that Eddy can eat the following: Applesauce, and sweet potatoes. Just kidding, but seriously. Can you imagine, no ranch or cheese? Those are my 2 favorite foods, poor kiddo.

Day 13

Good news: Eddy has not thrown up for 36 hours and he has been eating.

Bad news: He woke up this morning with a rash covering his entire body.

Where did this healthy boy go?

Sick Baby

I hope everything is okay with Eddy. He has been sick for about 11 days now. He has had some really good days but then throws up in his sleep. Today I thought he was for sure better and we got him all ready for church and as I picked him up he threw up all over me. It was so sad, I feel so bad for him. At least he is really cuddly right now, that is the one benefit. I just hope it is just a bug and not Ciliac or something, who knows with all of his allergies? We will be heading back to the Doctor if he is not better by tomorrow.

Santa Rosa

Well, we made it there and back and it was fun and Hell all at once. The drive there was super good. We stopped in Reno for the night and I won a dollar twenty-five! The next morning over Donner Pass chains were required, but we made it safely. It is amazing to me how in 10 hours the scenery can go from this to this
then to this
BEAUTIFUL
So the trip was quick and great, we went to San Fran on Friday and I took everyone with me on an expedition to get Wicked tickets. It was opening night so no luck. We went to the pier for seafood and then back to SR.

The next day was the baptism and it was amazing. The spirit was strong and it strengthened my faith. The night was spent with friends and family...good times. The next morning....bad times, this is when Hell kicked in. THE DRIVE SUCKED, but it was well worth it. It was really nice to be alone with Danny for such a long time, that itself made it a great vacation.

6 down...a lot to go!

Happy anniversary babe! You are babelishious! We had a super fun day skiing up at Snowbird. Thanks to Andy for the free passes and to JJ for watching Eddy. And thanks to Danny for being my BFF. I'd also like to thank the Academy and all of our fans for thier support.
